The Law Offices of Charlene Cathcart is an extremely active civil and criminal litigation practice with a primary emphasis on plaintiff’s personal injury, criminal defense, and municipal court matters. Attorney Cathcart maintains a private, self‑employed practice with an active litigation background, handling personal injury cases from case inception through conclusion, including trials when necessary. She also has experience in criminal, municipal court, and family law matters.

Attorney Cathcart performs voluntary pro bono work for South Jersey Legal Services, Inc. She was previously the Public Defender for the Borough of Audubon and is currently the Public Defender for Haddon Township. Her previous experience includes serving as Counsel for the Zoning Board of the Borough of Stratford, as well as conflict counsel for the Zoning and Planning Boards of the Boroughs of Audubon and Pine Hill. She has represented the Borough of Audubon in municipal tax appeals and has acted as an Arbitrator. She has also previously worked as a conflict public defender for the Atlantic County Public Defender and the Philadelphia County Public Defender.
